In the tradition of Harry Houdini, Dean Gunnarson has faced numerous police challenges over his career. Dean has escaped from many different types of police restraints including handcuffs, leg irons, straight jackets, retraining belts, muffs and even jail cells. From some of the oldest manacles the police have ever used to todays most modern and high tech restraints, Dean has escaped from them all. This is no easy task to accomplish and Dean tries to work with the many police departments that he has escaped from, to help them improve restraining techniques.

     Dean Gunnarson has escaped from the legendary Royal Canadian Mounted Police more then any other person alive. He also tries to test his ability with many of the police departments where he has preformed across the United States, Canada, South America, Europe and Asia. Dean has the utmost respect for all the Policemen he has had the honour to be manacled by and has developed long lasting friendships with many of them . Dean salutes them all for the difficult and dangerous job they do every day for the benefit of all of our communities.
